The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has expanded its investigation into the promotion of online gambling, summoning two more YouTubers for questioning.

According to an NCCIA spokesperson, YouTubers Anas Ali and Nadeem Mubarak have been issued notices to appear at the agency’s Gulberg office on September 9.

They are accused of promoting illegal gambling applications on social media platforms and allegedly encouraging citizens to invest in them.

The NCCIA said these apps were used to deceive and defraud innocent people.

The development comes just weeks after the arrest of YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, better known as Ducky Bhai, at Lahore Airport while he was reportedly attempting to leave the country.

A case was registered against him for promoting gambling apps, and a local court handed him over to NCCIA custody on physical remand.

Officials say the crackdown is part of a broader operation against the digital promotion of illegal betting platforms that exploit vulnerable users through misleading online campaigns.
