In the fifth match of the United Arab Emirates (UAE)-hosted Tri-Nation T20I Series 2025, at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Pakistan outclassed UAE by 31 runs, thanks to a 77-run knock by Fakhar Zaman and four wickets by Abrar Ahmed.
Winning the toss, Pakistan’s Captain Agha Salman chose to bat first.
Fakhar Zaman scored 77 runs on 44 deliveries for Pakistan, hitting 10 fours and smashing two maximums. Mohammad Nawaz also managed to add 37 runs to the team’s total.
Pakistan put a total of 171 runs on the board at the loss of five wickets in twenty overs.
From the UAE, Haider Ali took two wickets.
Chasing the target, UAE batters fell short of 31 runs as Pakistan restricted them to 140 runs in the allotted overs. Abrar Ahmed sent four UAE batters return to the pavilion.
Alishan Sharafu played a 68-run innings for the UAE.
With this win, Pakistan has secured their seat in the series’ final.
The final of the tournament will be played on September 7.
