ISLAMABAD, Jul 28 (APP):The Rupee on Tuesday appreciated by 01 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 277.85, compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs277.86.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 278.75 and Rs 278.95, respectively.
The price of the Euro against the rupee decreased by Rs 0.75 and closed at Rs 315.91 against the previous day’s closing of Rs316.66, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs 1.69, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed a decrease of Rs 0.94 and closed at Rs 369.57 compared to the previous day’s Rs 370.51.
The exchange rate of the Emirate Dirham went up by 01 paisa and the Saudi Riyal declined 01 paisa, closing at Rs 75.65 and Rs 74.01, respectively
